Innovation drives society and, by extension, business, but how important is the "new" in any creative practice? We talk to a range of innovative practitioners. Aligned with the philosophy of Sydney Esquisse, participants explored ways of playing with, not within, the rules of their industries; either in the form of new products or innovative practices.
The Sydney Esquisse Workshop will provide an informal and interactive framework where people with various backgrounds will discuss innovation and its implications for business and society. Instead of complying with the rules of business as usual, participants will explore how they change established methods of doing things and challenge mainstream thinking.
The prestigious panel includes:
_ Dan Phillips, Executive Director, Macquarie Bank
_ Tim Lawrence, Dean, UTS Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building
_ John Ford, CEO of One Centre and chair of the Australian Planning Group Ideas Exchange
_ Grant Kearny, CEO of the InnovationXchange
_ Matthew Butler, Director of Bluesquare Furniture
Moderated by
_ Robin Gower, Editor of Australian Creative Magazine
